Classes


Our weekly classes cover the more common steps, moves and dances and are suitable for beginner and intermediate dancers. You do not need to bring a partner! We also have an end-of-term ceili so we have plenty of opportunity to practice what we have learned.

Wednesday nights from 8.00 – 10.00 pm including a break for refreshments.

Dates for 2015

Term 1 - Wednesday 4 February - Wednesday 1 April (9 weeks)

Term 2 - Wednesday 29 April - Wednesday 1 July (10 weeks)

Term 3 - Wednesday 22 July - Wednesday 23 September (10 weeks)

Term 4 - Wednesday 14 October - Wednesday 9 December (9 weeks)



Free introductory sessions for beginners

If you are a beginner we are very happy to meet you half an hour before the class to show you the basics - see For beginners.

Cost


Monaro Folk Society Members $8/class$70 for a 10 class pass
Non-members $9/class$80 for a 10 class pass

Newcomers to the group receive their first two classes free. The 30 minute introductory sessions for beginners before the class are free.

 
Wear

Casual, comfortable clothing and shoes.  Shoes with leather soles and a heel are recommended.
