76 - Fusion Driver

I was really happy with the way my Infinity Mix Rework went – it turned a mix with annoying transitions and problems into something I really enjoy listening to. So I thought I’d try the same thing with Aleph Two, the first mix I ever did using MixMeister and not Cool Edit Pro. But between the problems – the first track was the only track in the key of E, the last track was significantly faster than the others, and pretty much all thirteen keys were in there, making it tricky to find good blends – and not feeling the same motivation to revive the mix, … I dropped it again.

However, I decided to make a new mix with a bunch of tracks from that mix, as well as other tracks that I like, all in the same key and starting around the same speed. And this mix is much more satisfying to me :-) I feel like powering up the fusion engines, pointing the rocket at the stars and pushing the throttle all the way forward.
