This set was shared by Syl Bell and Liz Hand, who acknowledge the help given to them by Denis Ryan in researching and learning the set. This set was danced traditionally as a half set and some variations exist in different parts of the country. Polka steps are danced for the jig figures and when dancing on the spot in place, a battering jig step can be used if preferred.
